The experiment was pretty cool! I have actually done that before in CTY, so I know the basics of the experiment and how to do it. I think that the strawberry needs the DNA because if they lacked a DNA, they wouldn't be able to reproduce. Reminding you that the DNA is after all what carries genetic information. I don't know if my theory is right, and I think that the video should have included an explanation. Overall I give it an A/A-.

This video was really cool and interesting but i can not think of a time in life when you will need strawberry DNA.

I thought that this video was very interesting. I would really like to do this experiment. I wish that they had went more into detail about why you are able to extract the DNA this way. I thought that the DNA would be more white but it was actually pretty pink. I really enjoyed this and thought that it was super cool!!

That was interesting. It was informative and I thought about it a little. You would never need strawberry DNA. I wonder if you could get DNA from everything like that.

Okay, that was probably one of the most amazing scientific things I've ever seen. I would love to do this experiment also!
However, the video does pose an interesting question at the end - Why do strawberries need DNA? That could be interesting to think about. Yes, they need to reproduce, and that's probably how they do it, but there could be other reasons that aren't just on the surface of things we already know.
How exactly did the DNA form? What about the isopropyl alcohol that made the DNA show? Or a more general question - what about the MATERIALS made the DNA show?
I believe my brother did this experiment with Mr. Brennan, but I could be wrong.
I can't believe that something as amazing as this is even possible. How does it work? It would be interesting if there was a followup video by the same people explaining how the experiment works. That would definitely feed my curiosity!

This was a REALLY interesting video, and I'm SO happy that I got to see it.

This experiment was very interesting, but it could have used a LOT more explanation, considering that there was no explanation at all. I have also done it in CTY. I agree with Sabina - the strawberry needs DNA to reproduce. Overall, I think this was cool, but I agree with Adam. I can't think of a time when strawberry DNA is needed.

I thought this video was cool. I didn't even know that strawberries had DNA. The only confusing part of this experiment was I didn't know if the while film was the DNA or the thick red liquid. It was still cool. I also think that they should have given information on why you can extract the DNA buy using all of these tools. Plus, the music if pretty awesome.

I think that this video was really cool. I agree with Elena when she said, that the question at the end was interesting to think about, and when she said asked why they really DO need DNA. I think that this experiment would be really fun to do at home. :)
Overall, I think that this video was really cool.

I really like this experiment. The question at the end was very interesting. It really is something to think about. Why do strawberries have DNA? They don't really need it. I like this video. Overall I give it an A-.

This video was really cool! I would love to do this experiment *cough cough Ms. Ghazarian ;)* Anyways, I also would have thought the DNA would have been like an off-white color, but it was actually really pink. I think this video should have included an explanation. Overall, I give this video a B+.

The video was pretty cool! However, like Adam said, the video was nice, but kind of pointless. Sure, strawberries need strawberry DNA, but do humans? I can't think of why. I also wish that they explained how to extract the DNA a little more.
