Wow the video was amazing seeing Neal Armstrong step on the moon and say the most famous line in astronomy "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." It was really cool. I saw on one of the pictures that the flag was waving on the moon. I thought that the moon had no atmosphere, so I looked it up and I found that they had a little rod underneath the flag to keep it up, but the rod was shorter than the flag so the flag rippled. I saw this link that I thought would be cool for next week
I think this article was very interesting because I told of not only the moon landing, but it talked about Neal's past experiences with flight. I pictured myself watching that when it happened on TV and thought of how big of a deal it was. I wonder if any of the events that happen soon (like leaning to teleport or fly) will be remembered just like this famous moon landing.
I think that Neil Armstrong's life was amazing. He was devoted to flying from the very beginning, and I think that for him to keep going is incredible. Not only was he the first man on the moon, making history that would last forever, but he also flew in 78 combat missions in Korea. He even got his plane hit, but like it said in the article, "But it didn't frighten him off of flying." His life is amazing, and he is an amazing person. The video of him on the moon is also incredible. I would love to travel to the moon, and even walk on it, maybe even leave my footprint on the moon, but it would be hard to adjust to everything. Like Ian said, if we did eventually learn to teleport or fly, I think that it would be just as big as this. Walking on the moon was like entering another world, and being able to be in the sky without any protection around you (flying) would be amazing too.
I really learned a lot about the life of Neil Armstrong. Many people know his moon trip, but he also did many other amazing things. He controlled a Navy Fighter Pilot, which I thought was cool. He almost got killed, but parachuted out of the plane just in time. He was a test pilot, most famously X-15. Then, after just four short years with NASA, he was already the commander of Gemini 8, but then it came. I thought it was amazing that 1 in every 5 Americans watched that. It was Neil who came out first, then Buzz. It was kind of funny in the video it looked like Armstrong was just kind of playing around with the lesser gravity amounts. I remain surprised that Michael Collins didn't go out. You go to the moon, but don't walk. Landing on the moon is still a big accomplishment today. I hope that the memory of Neil Armstrong is always remembered.
I think this is so amazing because Neil Armstong never gave up even knowing that he could die from flying the plane in the war that crashed. He was always pushing himself to the extremes and beyond the average person's ambitions. He was so into flying, he was willing to go through so much just to see the end of it and he always persevered. I think that is a great quality because you never want to give up because in the end it's worth it. I really like his quote when he landed on the moon, "One small step in mankind, one giant leap for mankind."
I knew that Neil Armstrong was the first man on the moon, but I didn't know that he was in 78 Korean combat missions! I also found it interesting that he did odd jobs to save up to fly. I could never be like him because I would be extremely scared if I was entrusted to fly a plane (alone or with passengers). But I think he is an inspiration to everybody young or old. I love how he never gave up his dream to fly even after he was almost dead. But though some people think that the moon landing was a fake, and that Neil Armstrong was faking the moon landing using a studio and photos. Even Mythbusters busted the myth proving that we did land on the moon! But furthermore I think that Neil Armstrong is a hero and his death was a tragic one.

I also didn't know that he got drafted into the army. When he was driving the plane in the army where he got shot, it said that he wasn't scared. If that were my, I would be scared to death. This article was very interesting. I would like to know why in this article they didn't say anything about the flag he planted on the moon. Neil most of been a really amazing guy.
Wow! I was stunned at the life that Neil Armstrong lived! He was an amazing man. He is a role model for me. He had difficulties in his way up the top however he was always motivated to keep going. He was the first man that could do something everyone thought could never be done. His death as Faith had mentioned before was a tragic one. For he may be gone. however he will always live in spirit. For he will never, ever be forgotten for many generations to come. I would adore to learn more about him.
