This is really awesome because the shark had mutated to have two heads. I find it very awesome that this case had happened many times before. I know about the case where the twins did not fully separate. Link: http://www.weirdasianews.com/2007/11/18/hindu-goddess-born-with-4-legs-and-4-arms/. I guess there are many types of mutations, maybe even weirder than this. All in all, quite amazing that this happened and this could be a huge scientific discovery.

Wow! This is really cool! As I'm writing this, I'm wondering if this has anything to do with human co-joined twins. Maybe the DNA is similar between the sharks and humans who have this co-joined body. It is pretty awesome that a SHARK could have two heads. This is a big discovery in the world of science, and I think it could lead us to many new ideas. I loved this article!

Sophia siad,

This is so cool. I also , like Elle, wonder if the sark is like co-joined humans. It is a awesome shark. Sharks are my favorite animals. It is nice to know that others find them cool to. I think this is kinda like twins but when they grew they collided so the skin and the body kinda formed a one/two shark. I is pretty scary.

That was such a cool article! I can't believe that there is a 2-headed shark. It is cool to know that the shark didn't have time to separate into twins so they stuck as a duo-headed creature.

I think that this article is very interesting. I never knew that twins not separating bodies at birth was the cause of making two headed creatures. I think this discovery could help us learn how to possibly prevent this from happening and help learn about whether this changes the creatures behavior. I have many questions about this article and I hope to see more information about this in the future.

Amazing! It's really interesting to see things like this. I wonder if a mother's behavior (taking medicine, eating enough food) might somehow affect this. This was reallly interesting. I just want to know how rare is this? It sounds like a really good subject, and I really want to know more aabout this. I give this article an A+.

This is an amazing article. I knew this could happen with humans, but I didn't really think about animals. I researched it and it can happen with snakes, tigers, etc. too! Im pretty sure that this is not edited, but it is an option! I watched the video below and I saw that these animals are very dangerous, i wonder if it is harder to bite of hands (what happened in the video) or easier, when you are stuck together with another "person".
Overall this was an okay article because I really wish
that they explained this more. Maybe it would have been better if they explained how it happened, why it happened, how it would feel, the harder and easier things that they can do, and maybe even what this mutated animal's disabilities.

I knew about the twins not splitting apart fully party but I never seen it on a shark. I have seen it on a snake before just not a shark. I kinda feel bad for the shark because it couldnt fend for itself. That was a cool yet not as informative as i hoped for.

I think this article was really cool. I've seen chickens, lizards, humans, and some other creatures with two heads on one body, but I don't think I have ever seen a shark with two heads. I think that having two heads would actually be pretty cool. If you had two heads, you can see more, so you can see if you are being attacked from more perspectives. This might also come in handy (fi you were a shark) if there is a fish or some other sort of prey, you could scare it with one head so that it goes towards the direction of your other head. If the shark has two heads, does it mean it then also has two brains? Are both heads completely functional? Since the body has to share with two heads, will the senses not be as accurate because it is being shared with a doubled amount? I think that this article was very interesting, but I think that people are giving the shark way too much attention, it is just a malfunction in birth, it is not that big of a deal. I feel bad for the shark.

I thought this was awesome because I have never heard of a shark with two heads before. I have heard of siamese twins, so is that very similar? The article says that the two headed-shark would not last very long in the wild, but what would happen if it did? would it be better because it can see in different places, or would one head be no use at all? I think this is getting attention because this is kinda rare for a shark to have two heads. This could turn into new discoveries and ideas for things to come! This was a really cool article!

I thought this article was interesting. I'm surprised that this is one of the first (or so they made it seem in the article) two headed sharks that we have found. I don't really understand why people are saying this is a huge discovery. The human race has already seen some animals with two heads. Why is it so surprising that a shark has two heads? It makes me sad to see so many of you say that this is cool. I feel bad for the shark.

That was really cool! I actually heard about this before this article was posted and thought that it was really weird. They were saying how these two heads could be a sign that the ocean isn't healthy. I don't think that the shark came from a line of two headed sharks, since it is a bull shark, a shark with only one head. Does this mean that there is something weird in the ocean? Is it like one of those cartoons where a deer is drinking from a radioactive pond thinking that it's a fresh water lake and then the deer has a horn pop out of its stomach instead of its head? I don't know. We definitely should look into this more. Who know what else there is about it. Maybe nothing really "happened" to the shark at all. Maybe a little something went wrong and the sharks were mutated. Since only 6 other reports of this have been found, maybe it's something in the Bull Sharks's genes that are allowing this to happen. Maybe it's just a little accident made easier by the breed of shark.

I agree with Izzy, but I don't think that when you drink radioactive water, you get mutated. I think the animal would die. The radioactive items make a myth about how you get mutated, but I think you would die. Just sayin'. Maybe. Who knows?

I agree with Chloe. birth malfunctions happen all the time.
