I have seen these air cannons before and I am planing to make one at home. It is so cool that when you pull back on the parachute it stores all the air in their because you would just think since its air it will move around but it doesn't. This video was very cool and entertaining. I hope to make one of these in the future.
I give this video an A-.

This is an awesome video. The science behind it is so simple. I:f you just keep a lot of smoke in a controlled space, and the open up a bit of the space with a parachute, then make the space small again, the smoke will shoot out. I think that the coolest thing about the experiment was the fact that when the smoke was shot, it stayed in a sphere. I know that the hole in the machine was not that big, but when the air came out, is was in a bigger shape.
I love these Steve Spangler science videos and hope to see more of them.

These Steve Spangler videos don't help you in life. There is no science that we haven't already learned behind the video. Yes, it was cool to watch the air get sucked in and then shot out at a person, yet it wasn't educational. Usually i like these videos, but i just realized they are just for entertainment.

This is AWESOME. I have used this time of machine except that it was not this powerful. I wish I had this at home and could blast stuff. I wonder how long it would take to build it. But like Dylan said, there is no benefit of watching the Steve Spangler shows because they do not help you at all in life. It was cool but not very educational. These are great videos, but are not very scientific and do not help you at all if you want to become a scientist. Great video, not very educational.

This is so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so
so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so cool. I think that it is amazing that a simple parachute and tube can blast that much air. To bad humans are not as light as air or else everyone would be rocketing around with a tube and a parachute. I give this a A+.

I think this video was very interesting. I liked how the air would stay in a sphere when it shot out of the machine. I think it has something to do with how nature makes perfect spheres. I also liked how the confetti blasted around when hit by the air, but it was hard to see. If clearer air was shot out, it would have been much more amazing.

Wow to have a cannon of air. Home defense. A robber comes to your house and you blast them with air.

I think it would be cool if you could rocket around in a tube with a parachute. I think it is really cool that the science behind this is very simple, and that it is also entertaining. I love these Steve Spangler videos because they make simple (or sometimes complicated) experiments look so much cooler then they might actually be. I think that the fact that it like burst and got bigger made it so cool. A+

That is pretty cool. So simple! Steve Spangler is so unique and creative with his experiments. There is barely anything to say except cool and simple.

This is an awesome video. The science behind all of the things were very simple. We learned every part of science in the video. I don't think it was really educational, but it was fun to watch. Overall, I give this video an A- rating.

I had seen this video before and think that it is very cool to know that something like this could be made that easily. I wonder how many people will end up making this in the future. I think that it is cool what you can do with such basic equipment. I hope to one day make one of these. It is cool how you can vary the size of the boom. Also, I don't think that some people know how powerful the blast actually was.

I rate it a A- because other people have done it before. It was still a really good video.

This is so cool! I also thought that it wasn't the most complicated because it looked like the smoke was being pulled back then released. I think the smoke was used so that you can see the air fly through the room but possibly you can use it without the smoke and still create the same effect. I wonder if the size or how wide the opening of the air cannon can affect how powerful the air is or how large the gust of air is. This video wasn't the most educational, but you can see some of the science behind it and try to figure out how it works. I don't know what people can do with these air cannons but it still is cool and entertaining.

I think that this video was very cool. It was very interesting to see how pulling the string on the back would "inhale' the air, and letting go of it would sorta... "exhale" a different substance. I think it is sorta like what we do when we breathe. I think that this can be very useful at parties. If there is any confetti in the house, you can open up a trash bag, and just blow it into there....or you can just use a vacuum if you don't want to have fun cleaning up.. :)
I also agree with Alyssa when she said that they only used smoke so that it would be easily visible.
Overall, I think that this video was very interesting.

Well, again, this doesn't teach anything. If the smoke doesn't escape a designated area, you can push it using the power of air. All it is is basically air you can see being blown in little puffs.

I love watching these videos. I always get a kick out of them. My brother had an air blaster a few years ago and I always loved playing with it. It is really interesting that the smoke ring has a center core, when you would think that the smoke would contract and form just a ball of smoke. I would never think that putting smoke in the air blaster would make it a lot more visible and not just shoot out air but also shoot out smoke. The air blaster uses Bernoulli's Principle which is quite interesting and complex. I wish to do some research about this principle when I have the chance. Overall this video was a lot of fun to watch, but didn't teach much. I give it an A-.

This is a great video. But we know all the science behind it. It isn't that hard. Ms. Ghazarian has taught us all of the science that was included. I rate the video for two things. One is the creativity, and the other is the science. Rate for creativity: 10 Rate for science: 7

I thought that this was amazing i loved how it made those little o shapes. it would be so cool if they could pour it vertically so the o shape would go over your body!!!

I really liked this video. I think that Steve Soangler is a really cool scientist and I think all his experiments are awesome. I would give this video a A+!

Steve Spangler is a really cool scientist. It is amazing how it pulls the smoke in through the parachute and the air comes out in a circle. What if the machine was HUGE and the circle was as big as a building? That would be so cooL! If we can fill it with smoke, why can't we fill it with anything else... I can just imagine "the ultimate splasher"! If we do that with water, it could turn something from dry to soaking wet. it can fill juice boxes and make everything quick! The future will be amazing! :)

Awesome. I have always wanted one of those for a surprise attack on somebody in my family. They look so fun, though I am still slightly confused on how they work. One of the main things that I wondered was how the smoke stays in the gun, when it is loaded. One would think that it would just come out. I agree with Dylan that these videos are very fun to watch, but they are mainly used as entertainment, not education. I have also seen machines that are not manually operated that can do the same thing but are a lot more powerful. I give this video an A-.
