Secondly, such a little portion of the material will make a huge difference, so you save money, and you have more material. The polymer material that they use is a substance that has a molecular structure consisting chiefly or entirely of a large number of similar units bonded together. The new material is very effective compared to the other machines, and materials that we have used in the past. For example, when we tried using hair to pick up a lot of the oil. I think that this material is a revolutionary product that will help in the near future when we have another oil spill.

Scientists found a material that could pick up oil, then turn the material and the oil into a gel that you could melt to just reuse the oil! This could be a breakthrough in oil cleaning science! I really think that this is awesome...like no joke. I mean, I really can't believe that this hasn't been publicized more. It could really change the world.

I agree with Rachel, this was a great article, but I would like more information. What is this polymer called? Why is it able to do what it does? Questions like that, I would like answered. However, this was a great topic for an article, just a little too short. Also, it is quite amazing that they could create a solution for all oil spills by just condensing the oil into the gel, sticking it onto a ship, and transferring it from point A to point B. This would make transportation a lot easier, and could even make it so you could pack more oil onto a ship than normal.
Amazing! I can't believe they discovered this. This could be incredibly useful. WHY doesn't anybody know about this? There are so many oil spills out there. Like I said, we need to be developing new technology, and I think these guys are on the right track. Still, more people need to know! The more people know, the more people use it. The more people use it, the faster we clean up oil spills, and that's just good for all of us. I would want to know more about this polymer though. How was it made? How was it discovered? Are there any drawbacks? Overall, this article was OK and I give it a B+.
