Don't be fooled by the title, this articule was really interesting. I actually started to pull up my notes from the energy debate to state cons of natural gas. Anyways, I am glad to see that we stopped relying on coal so much, but still 30% of natural gas that powers our electricity is still not enough. Price is a big issue because as in my notes and on the website there has been an increase since we've been using it so much. And it is going to get MORE expensive as we use it and if we build power plants for it, the more expensive it wil get since they last over 24 years. It also is a problem about pollution, since natural gas can destroy our environment even more so than coal. But as more gas and nuclear plants are closing, and the population growing, we have no choice than to build more of these power plants, which is exactly what they don't want to do.
