My dad told me that this is what some TVs have. Instead of having just plain 3d glasses, they have glasses with lenses and a little sensor that sends the waves to and from the screen. It is amazing how that it feels like yesterday when we had a 2d movie. Now, we have such advanced technology to do this! It must be hard to program the little sensor to have several "sweet spots" so that when a person moves somewhere else, it would still look like it is in high quality 3d. All in all, quite amazing how far technology has come over the last century.

I agree with Jahan on how fast technology develops because it really was amazing on how we got more Apple products, Android products, advanced security cameras and amazing apps in just so little time. I also think it is very cool how 2D television is just one barrier of color going straight into your eyes and 3D television is several barriers going in different directions into your eyes to make things look more realistic.

This is super awesome. I'd love to see one of these TVs in action! Over the summer my family bought a new TV. I was super excited about it because it was 3D, but when we brought it home, we noticed the pictures that weren't in 3D weren't really high quality. We looked up the TV online, and it turned out that the TV was actually a 3D monitor, not a TV. We returned it and got a new normal TV and I really like. I mean, it's supposed to be a TV. Anyway, during 3 movies, you always have to wear those HUGE 3D glasses, and being someone with glasses, I know how it feels. Double the glasses! It's pretty bad. Don't get me wrong though, I absolutely LOVE 3D movies. It would be really nice to watch 3D TV just like you would watch a normal television. You wouldn't lose the glasses, or have them break. I just think that this is a really smart idea. Like a movie theatre in your home.

I have watched many movies in 3D from a normal TV, but it really doesn't make that big of a difference for many movies. And for those types of movies, it's actually an inconvinience to watch it in 3D because you feel uncomfortable with glasses (or none in this case), on you when it just clocks your view. I think that it would also be sorta annoying to have to sit where the 3D works the best, and rearrange yourself so that the sensor can detect you better. This is the case for antenna TVs, you have to move around so that you're not blocking the antenna. But the good thing about not having glasses, is that you won't worry about having to buy new ones if you lose or break them! :)
It's also great for people who already have glasses!
Overall, I think that this article was pretty good in explaining their idea fully, and it was very interesting.
