This video was pretty interesting. This technology and science is not so knew, but it is still fascinating. It was very cool when the connected his hand with sensors I think and he moved his hand that was not there with his mind. that was very interesting. Over all this video was pretty cool and I give it a B.

That was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! It's so cool that you can connect a robotic hand to your nervous system, stimulate it, and then control the hand! Civilization is so advanced now, that people even ten years ago couldn't imagine anything like this. It takes very advanced technology to do that, and so yes, I think the future is here.

I think that it was a pretty interesting video, but still pretty strange. I like how there are all these new advances in technology, but I agree with Adam. These advances are not that new. I think that the hand grabbing the water bottle was pretty good, but old. I rate it a B. I think that it was interesting but strange.

This was a interesting video. It amazed me that a person could control a robot through his mind. And what is more amazing is that it cost only 3 million dollars. If technology is this advanced now, imagine how advanced it could be in the next 50 years. This is great!

Whoa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was amazing!!!!!!!!! It is amazing that they actually controlled a mechanical hand using just his mind!!!! I think that the Placebo effect had something to do with it, but it was like he had another limb, and since it was connected to the nervous system, it worked! Imagine how far we could be in 25 years! We might even be able to make a real hand! It is great that we have come so, so, so far in the last 50-100 years. If we could help so many patients, then we would be a much less injured society. I think this is a great discovery. GO TECHNOLOGY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought this video was pretty cool all in all, but I thought it was a little sad he lost him arm in the car accident. I think it should had given a little more detail and been about a minute longer. It should have maybe given back round on the car accident, or given more information about the hand, or given an approximation of when they will be able to actually attach a robot hand onto an arm of a person. I rate this video an A-.

That was amazing. This could really help a lot of people. The problem is that it would cost a lot of money. Jacob, I know this is an amazing invention, but how is 3 million dollars an only. I agree with Andrew that they could have elaborated a little bit more. I also think that this is reassuring how far technology has gotten. How is this technology not that knew. Like I said before, it cost 3 MILLION DOLLARS. What kind of bozo would spend 3 million dollars on something that has already been done. Overall, I say this is a great article, and it can benefit mankind in many ways.

Wow, just wow... This video was AMAZING! I loved to see a man controlling a robot with his mind. I do feel bad for the man about losing his hand, but I really do feel good for him since he DID help technology advance in such an amazing way. He controlled the hand to do certain movements that only he was thinking. Considering he was doing this with his mind is pretty cool. I also agree with Chris... TECHNOLOGY!!!!!!!

Wow that was so cool!!! How did the scientists open up his arm, put nerve extensions in his existing nerves, attach them to an insane bionic hand, and keep him alive while doing that? I don't understand why the hand only works for a short period of time: do the nerves get harmed? Do the nerve extensions die? Does the hand run out of energy? If they made the hand work for longer, they just need to put some skin-looking material over the limb and attach the hand to his severed arm. Even though the whole process costed 3 million dollars, in the future the price may go down and prosthetic limbs may be in common use. I noticed that on the website the other videos are all around three minutes long and just a brief overview of the topic. The videos are probably there for anyone to watch quickly, and if it interests them enough, go find a long article or a longer in-depth video on the subject. I would have rather seen a longer report on this, because it is very interesting. Overall, the video was fascinating, but I would have liked to see a little more.

I thought that it was a pretty amazing video and I thought it was some great technology. The only thing that I wanted more detail on was the accident and also how the doctors attached the arm. I know that they said some things about the arm being attached, but not enough. Also for the car crash, I thought it was very sad, yet it did intrigue me and I wanted to know more about it. It was very cool to know that the person is making the hand and arm do things by just controlling it with his mind. I rate this video an A- because I still think it needed a bit more detail.
