I thought that the video for this topic was quite interesting. I could tell that the man who was narrating the video didn't go over everything because that would have probably taken about a month. But, that was really cool. There were a few interesting facts, but the one that stood out the most was the stating that the area between a males hip bones is less than 90 degrees, while the area between a female's hip bones is more than 90 degrees. A females hip bones need to be like this in order to carry a baby inside of them. It is a bit weird to think about how there are so many things behind the simplest actions, like when you are typing. You have os many muscles in your hands that your hands are able to move the most out of all of the bone and muscles structures in your body. I don't think that is the only reason why our fingers can move around so much. I also think the reason why our fingers can move around so much is because our fingers are so small, making it easy for them not to constantly bump into each other and hit things on target. Overall, I thought it was pretty cool to learn brief science behind the way your body moves.

That was really awesome. Like Izzy said, he obviously did not go over everything. There is a lot that goes into what seems like a fairly simple design. I know that different parts of the body need certain features, but the fact that they are so different is cool. But what I also know is that some people have slightly different joints and bones. Like how some people are "double-jointed." The fact that are fingers have a lot of bones may contribute why they are so fragile. What I also think is fascinating is that our feet have 33 joints and only 26 bones. Overall, this was an educational video.

I agree with Izzy. But carrying the baby is not the only reason why women have bigger hip bones. Woman's hip bones are bigger, because woman need to hold and give birth to a baby. It is very interesting how the simplest of actions are so complicated at the same time. I also agree with Nick. It is very interesting how some people are double jointed. I agree with both Izzy and Nick that they did not go over everything.

I thought it was interesting how the bone is almost perfect. Bones can heal, are strong, and very protective for the human body. If we had no skeleton we could get easily injured. Bones are light too. It is amazing what bones can do. Are other animal's bones as protective as ours? (their structure and size) I also would love if I could watch more videos of other animals. In addition, I enjoyed to learn about the different sizes of bones. The long and small bones. They were all very interesting.I agree with Nick in how this was very interesting and educational. I really enjoyed the video. I did not believe it was a waste of time.

I think it was really cool to see all the bones that the body is made of. It made me think that maybe (I Know it sounds crazy) we could build buildings out of bone. Like he said, it is stronger than concreate and lighter than stainless steel. Also, If the building could repair itself that would also be really cool. I don't really understand why there are 4 comments right now. I personally think this is the most interesting topic on the blog.

Even though I posted this video, I have a few things to say....
I agree with Ian when he said that we could build VERY strong buildings out of bones. He said that bones are stronger then concrete and lighter then stainless steel. And if you think about it, concrete is SUPER strong and stainless steel is SUPER light.
Now if we were to build buildings out of bones, it would have to probably be adult bones because if it were baby bones or children's bones, they would be to weak to hold people and desks, etc.
But.... where would we get the bones? Take them out of dead people? I mean it is an idea, but it is very very gross. People who passed away should be treated like living people. They should rest in peace.... And if we did take bones out of dead people, how would we get ALL, I mean ALL of the bacteria out of them? If the germs, viruses, bacteria, etc. get out of the bones, anyone who stepped into that building could get those germs, or viruses, or bacteria anytime because germs spread super fast. Anyway, this video was super interesting, and I totally agree with Izzy and Bianca when they say it is really cool how the woman's hip bones are larger than the men's. Nick has a very interesting point when he talks about people being double-jointed. How can you explain that?

WOW! I am very impressed with this video. For comments on the video, I think it was well out together and had no bad comments. They didn't use actual human bones and explained content very well. For the science in the video, I think that is so amazing that our human bodies rely on things so light and strong for us to live. Like the video said, our boned are stronger than concrete but lighter than stainless steal. I thought is was so interesting that there is a difference near the hip bones for the male and the female. The male's is less than 90 degrees but the female's is more than 90 degrees. It is important for the female child birth. VERY COOL! I can't believe that something so simple can do so many things. Another thing that I thought was important is that our hands need so many bones to function. Without them, we couldn't do the things that we can do today. Overall, one of the best videos I have seen on the blog! :)

I thought that the video was very informing. I never knew a lot about bones, so this video helped me understand some about bones. Like Izzy said, he clearly didn't go every little detail in the skeletal system because there are WAY too many of them to explain merely in seven minutes. I learned that are bone is stronger that steel and ways a lot less at the same time. I don't think that you have to know much about bones to know that they are the most movable body part. Now I know a lot about bones!
