A Smarter Scan

Tiny patterns cut into this narrow copper strip filter microwaves. This new, simple technology makes it possible to take digital pictures faster, with less computer time required. And it could be used to help make airport scanners smarter, faster and cheaper.

I think this article was really interesting because then polie would probably be able to find criminals with weapons at a much easier process. I also think that this could be useful because at airports, there are usually long lines for security, but if this could reduce the time taken, then the airport process would be much easier for the passengers. Overall, this article was really cool, and if they could just make it work outside of their lab, it could change the face of airports and cops.

That was an interesting article. At airports, the process of checking things is very tedious, and this could fix that. It could also make these things cheaper. If they could get this to work outside of the lab, then it would benefit everybody. I also think that it is interesting how this can work with the metal bouncing back. This was an interesting article and an even better idea.
